
An interesting idea is whether or not blogging can be used by a business. Can a blog be beneficial to a business? Can someone use a blog to help them make money?
Is blogging of any use to business as an internal communications tool? Absolutely! This is an interesting (and humorous) video about how a software marketing guy at IBM could have used a blog to get things done much easier (It's actually promoting Lotus Connections but it's really about blogs)

As a business owner or an entrepreneur, should you blog and if so, what about?
The prevalent thinking is that you not only should, but must blog.
Why? To creating a public personae and make your company more accessible.
What to blog about.
Define your audience. Is it your customers, partners, your industry as a whole?
What information would they consider valuable?
It should be something you can be passionate about as well as relatable.
Find a way to differentiate your blog.
Get inside your readers’ mind, be mindful of who they are.
Create something people would want to read daily.
Be authentic and genuine.
Ask for feedback and try to address concerns and suggestions.
Be aware of your brand image and don’t be offensive.
Have fun, this will show and help engage your readers.
Remember, blogging can be a valuable networking tool and help the bottom line.
